News for CHM 109 students                        Fall 2007

Dear students,

    1) Remember that the last homework assignment is due Friday, 12/07/07, at 5 PM.

    2) Help session times: 

        Thursday 6-?, rjk  (Sm 413)

        Friday 2:30-5, rjk  (Sm 201)

        Saturday 2-4, Arielle  (Room to be announced.)

        Monday 3-5, Arielle   (Room TBA)

    3) Try to get a reasonable amount of sleep the two nights before your final exam.  It is fairly common to see students doing less well than their ability and effort would warrant because they are sleep deprived.  

    4) If you want to have the spreadsheet entries I have for your grades posted on the web page (with a code name to protect your privacy) I will hand out forms for you to sign in lecture on Thursday.  This is voluntary.  If you would prefer to stop by my office to check your entries instead, that is fine.  I cannot communicate either overall grades or exam results by phone or through email (FERPA). 

    5) The TI-83 calculator (w/out cover) that was found during Dr. Rosario's Tuesday afternoon lab has still not been claimed.  If you know someone that is missing this type of calculator, please have them contact me.
