A Little Bit about Nicole Tobias
I am originally from good ol' Spartanburg, South
Carolina. I have an amazing boyfriend/partner (Jeff), a crazy-fun rescued puppy (Ada), and an awesome eleven year old son (Trevor).
In 2006, I graduated from Paul M. Dorman High
School. I then attended the University of South
Carolina at Upstate, where I received a B.S. in
Mathematics (December 2009) and a B.S. in Computer
Science (May 2010). I completed my M.S. in Computer
Science from Clemson (December 2012).
Now, I am a Computer
Science PhD student at
Clemson University, with a focus in Remote Debugging in Wireless Sensor Networks and Time Keeping in Energy Harvesting Systems.
I enjoy most everything from watching movies,
relaxing with friends and/or family, cooking, and
crafting (sewing and knitting) to camping, fishing,
hiking, and white water rafting. Over the last several years, I have become a prolific and passionate knitter -- and I love everything about this fiber craft and many others. It is a great stress reliever and you will find me with needles/yarn in hand EVERY chance that I get!

shows/movies:: I am a movie buff and
am always up for a good comedy/action. If I had to
choose one favorite movie, I would have to say Forest
Gump... (Don't hate- that movie is classic!) -- A
super close second favorite of mine would have to be
The Usual Suspects. My Favorite TV show of all time
is, without a doubt, The Golden Girls! :) ... but I
have to at least mention that I also really like Star
Trek (TOS and TNG) as well.
