Dreams

As I lie in the darkness tossing and turning
I dream of my lover by the creek.
Her softness dances along the edge of my thoughts
as I breath deeply remembering her scent.

Beautiful she lies on her pillow.
Memories of her breasts against me renew my desire to hold her.
My arms and chest ache empty without her
yet filled with hope to lie with her again.

The softness of her touch and the brush of her lips
on my neck drive me from my sleep.
Once more I lie alone in the darkness
thinking of her hands sliding along my back.

My sides ache to feel her legs wrapped around me.
I close my hands to calm my palms as I remember
sliding them along the backs of her thighs,
our bodies pressed together in passion.

I cannot escape the memory of her love.
I could never forget her passion.
But if I could for a moment I would sleep,
and dream again of my lover by the creek.
