Text Box: Dr. Jorge A. Salvo, Ph. D. Assistant Professor of Spanish Text Box: Hello! and welcome to my webpage. I am an assistant professor of Spanish at the University of South Carolina Upstate. I was born in Santiago, Chile. I moved to the US in 1984 and I obtained my Ph. D. from Florida State University in 2003. In 2004, I went back to Chile for the first time.
