Before emailing your submission, please insure that your submission meets the following requirements:
Introduction: Introduction should include a description of the background and aims of the work and what has been accomplished to date.
Materials and Methods: Include full descriptions of all experimental procedures.
Results: Results should be clearly stated and supported by figures, tables, or graphical representations of the findings.
Discussion: The discussion should address the importance of the major findings of the work, expanding upon the results. A discussion of the implications of the research to the general area of investigation is particularly useful.
Acknowledgements: Should be brief (if any).
References:
References must follow the Council of Biology
Editors (CBE) name-year style. See the latest copy of the Journal for
format. Within the article, if a citation has
more than two authors, use the first author followed by "et
al." All authors must be listed and Journal names should
not be abbreviated in the "References" section. Complete
coverage of this reference style is found in Scientific Style and
Format: The CBE Manual for Authors, Editors and Publishers, 6th
edition. The internet links below also provide examples of the CBE
style in use:
Figures and Tables: Figures and tables should be included (embedded) in the text at a point soon after the reference to the figure or table is made. Figures and tables should be numbered sequentially as they appear in the article. When embedding figures, photos, or scans, please verify that all graphics are "stand-alone" and do not require any external reference or external program to display properly.
