Jack Turner (microbiologist at USC Upstate) and I studied the water quality of 8 streams coming out of Cowpens National Battlefield. in 2000-2001.

For the microbiology side of the project, we studied fecal coliform concentrations and locations.

For the chemistry side of things, we studied concentrations of metals (sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, and manganese), chloride, nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, carbonate, phosphate, and total organic carbon.
