Info Page.

The lab syllabus is here.  (CHM 321L syllabus)

Some spreadsheets (lab reports) are below, others will be posted as the semester continues.
Reports will be turned in electronically (see due date listed in spreadsheet).  PLEASE include your LAST name in the title of the spreadsheet so that I can easily determine the spreadsheet owner (and your file won't get overwritten with someone else's report of the same name!).  Thanks!!

Email spreadsheets to:  cbender@uscupstate.edu

The spreadsheet for Experiment #2 (Gravimetric Analysis) is here. (Due Feb 9, 2010)

The spreadsheet for Spectrophotometric titration of KMnO4 is here--note, it's three pages long!.

You get to make your own spreadsheet for the Gran plot and pH titration curve.  Isn't that cool?!?!?!

The spreadsheet for Spectrophotometric analysis of iron is here.

The spreadsheet for Carbonate Analysis is here. (Due:  April 20)

Chemistry Formatter.  Notice how even in the Excel spreadsheets, chemical formulas are written with the proper superscripts and subscripts?  You should do this, too!  Click here for an easy way to make the computer automatically format chemical formulas in either MSWord or MSExcel.   (The link was changed to a non-login version on 30 Aug 2007, so you should be able to download this now.)

Need some more values for a Q-test?  Download this table (MSWord document).
