Planning your display:  The purpose of the teacher displays is for teachers to showcase projects and activities from their own classes—activities that other teachers could easily replicate for their own students.  Each display should include:

q     a backboard which shows the primary goal of the project, the steps followed in class, and samples of student work.  (Additional materials and samples may be placed on the table to showcase the unit.)

q     handouts with information on the project/unit directions (one-page synopsis)

q     contact cards so that teachers who want electronic copies of project handouts or additional information may reach the teacher(s) presenting the display via email

Please note:  No electronic connections are planned for the teacher display area.

*Receipt of your proposal will be acknowledged via email within approximately two weeks of the date it is received.

Acceptance of display proposals will be made by August 1, 2006.
